Two, you do a repair install of Windows after plugging the drive into your Macbook Pro. You'll have to remove all of these when transferring the hard drive back to the Dell and go through the same process. One, you remove all of the drivers while the hard drive is installed in the Dell and then plug it into the Macbook Pro, upon booting up Windows will install the basic drivers and then you can install the Apple supplied drivers. The problem with swapping the drive is that the hardware between the Macbook Pro and the Dell laptop are different, and Windows will be looking for the Dell's hardware when you first plug the hard drive into the Macbook Pro. However, it is certainly more work than it's worth. Let's not throw around the word impossible since what he's asking to do is really not impossible to accomplish.
